So the van I'm supposed to tour in this summer is faulty. We called a guy from craigslist to come out and check it out and my prediction was right. It was the fuel pump. Now we have to spend some money on parts and labor, but thanks to friendly craigslist man, we are saving a few hundred bucks. But as of right now, he is sitting outside working on the van and its a little weird cause my friend matt and I just met him, so its hard to keep conversation going. This is why I went inside to blog about it. Anyways, I'll make sure to write about anything funny that might happen.

New Life
Ahhhhh....I can finally take a breather. As of last Sunday I am officially done with college. It has been a crazy time finishing my degree, but I feel like life is just begining. I'm so excited for new things happening in my life. but I am also a little worried about making ends meet. But hey, nothing some faith in Jesus Christ won't fix. ;) Right now I am taking a break from things, but I am working on a website and other things I will write about soon. I'll be taking it easy for atleast a week. :)

Little Hike and a Little Thai
Last Saturday I was able to get out for a small hike in North Bend. I hiked Little si with Kelsey and really enjoyed it. It was only about an hour up, which was nice because I had other stuff to do that day. The view at the top was amazing! You could see everything around you. So Kelsey and I sat at the top awhile before heading back down.
But then I was thinking the other day of how funny hiking is. What compelled a person one day to say, "Hey I think I'll climb that mountain." It must be something inside of us that feels that we need to conquer different tasks in life. We feel empowered once we get to the top and can see from a bird's eye. Just a small thought that I though was funny.
After our hike we went to a really good Thai food place in Tacoma called Silk Thai. The vibe in the place was really chill and we were able to get a lot of food on a college budget. If you like Thai food I suggest you check it out.

Beautiful Day
Washington is having great weather for being February. Normally it is filled with rain or snow this time of year, but this past week has been nothing but blue skies and sunshine. It makes me wonder if this is just an odd event this year or will Washington continue to have good weather for years to come. I can only hope for the latter.
I've also noticed that when the weather gets nice, people's attitudes get so much better. I went for a walk today with Kelsey and there were so many couples out walking around. They all had smiles on their faces and were enjoying themselves. Even at the local coffee shop where we got some breakfast, the attitudes of people in there seemed to be more friendly than usual. Its strange how a little thing like sunshine can change our attitudes.
I hope the weather continues to stay nice so more smiles can be seen around Washington. With the economy the way it is and the unemployment offices being filled, we need a little sunshine to keep our spirits up.

Keep Pushing Through Hard Times
I've come to a point in my life where a whole lot of decisions need to be made. This causes a lot of stress on me. But I've found that if I keep my faith strong and keep pushing through the hard times, it will all end up good in the end.
It's hard to know what to do with my life at times. I guess that is why God wants us to have faith in him. i find myself wondering why can't God just give me a map of life? But if I had that I wouldn't need faith in him and I would be relying on myself. Therefore I have to keep reminding myself that God holds my map to life and to get through it, i have to keep faith in him.
So through these hard times, I have to keep pressing on and trusting God, because even if I can't see it right now, he has big plans for me.
